The DGA Contract Administration-East (DGACA-East) maintains lists of individuals who have met the minimum requirements as set forth in the DGA Basic Agreement for work as Unit Production Managers, First Assistant Directors, and Second Assistant Directors in the Motion Picture Industry. The Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the Alliance of Motion Picture and TV Producers (AMPTP) negotiate the requirements for placement on the Qualification Lists. A Board of Trustees appointed by the AMPTP establishes the DGACA-East policies. Companies signatory to the DGA Basic Agreement give preference of employment to individuals on the Qualification Lists.

The Commercial Qualification List Administration (212) 397-0930 maintains New York, Southern California and Third Area Commercial Qualification Lists. For Commercial QL requirements please go to www.dga-cql.org.
Work as a Production Assistant does not qualify applicants for placement on the DGACA-East Qualification Lists. Please contact the Commercial Qualification List Administration (212) 397-0930 if your work experience is as a Set PA.
Work on commercials, music videos, documentaries, or industrial films does not qualify applicants for placement on the DGACA-East Qualification Lists. Please contact the Commercial Qualification List Administration if your work experience falls in these areas. Work on animated projects does not qualify applicants for placement on the DGACA-East Qualification Lists. |
